Training Cisco network academy instructors

Question: How is the training of the Regional academy instructors organized?

The instructors of the Regional academies receive education in the Cisco Academy Training Centers ( CATC). The first term lasts 8 days, the second, 5 days, and the third and the fourth,6.days altogether.

Question: Where does the training of the Regional academy instructors take place?

At present, trainees from European countries take course at the University of Edinburgh (Great Britain). We are going to open the Cisco academy training centers in other European countries so that new Regional academies could choose the nearest training center. Besides, training is given in various regions of USA.

Question: Who trains instructors-teachers of Local academies?

"Trainers" of the Regional academy teach instructors and teachers of the Local academy.

Question: Who pays travelling expenses of Regional academy instructors?

The Regional academy takes on itself travelling expenses of one or two instructors assigned to study from the Regional academy. These expenses pass on to the Local academies.

Question: Are new hardware and software installed by Cisco free of charge?

The Regional Academy trainees learn to install equipment to execute the program of each term. Instructors show how to do installation. Cisco also helps with the installation of equipment in a laboratory ( special room prepared by the Regional academy company) over the phone. In turn, the Regional academies render assistance to Local academies.
