The Cisco local academy

Teaching and training of networking specialists � one of the lines of the activities of scientific and educational UzSciNet network of Uzbekistan.

In 2000, the first and , for the time being, the only in Uzbekistan the Cisco local certified network academy and the training center were opened on the base of UzSciNet network.

The CISCO academy is concerned with the training of specialists in the field of modern information technologies who are to construct, build and serve local networks of small and mean scale.

Both the CISCO academy broad program and special courses: making web-pages technique, management of modern network systems, strategy and practice of Internet commerce are envisaged.

UzSciNet workers got relevant education and was awarded certificates of Cisco trainers. The first virtual session for networking specialists of higher qualification participating in the programs: United Nations Development, OSI-Uzbekistan and Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences was held.
