The Cisco network academy

In 1977, the world-known leader in the field of telecommunication � the American company Cisco Systems - created the public-private program - Cisco Networking Academy Program which now covers over 8000 educational institutions all over the world and provides online learning program to students. This project works in 133 countries, including such countries as Bangladesh, Mali, Chad, Congo and Cambodia. 232000 students are the participants of the program. The purpose of the program is to satisfy fast growing in the world demand for highly qualified specialists of computer networks.

Основана на программе CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert). At present, the CCIEP is one of the most respectable programs of the certification on network technologies in the world. The training is accomplished at two levels: regional and local. The Cisco regional academy is in the capital of Kazakhstan � Alma-Ata, where the trainers-teachers get education. In 2000, the first and, for the time being, the only in Uzbekistan Cisco local certified network academy and the training center were open on the base of the UzSciNet. Studies in the Cisco academy is planned for 4 terms, each of them lasts about 6 weeks, i.e. 6 months altogether. Cisco graduates receive Cisco certificates which are to be acknowledged in one of the world certified centers - VUE and SylvanPrometric during one year. The procedure is fee-paying but the Cisco graduates have remarkable discounts.
